- A wireless router with an available Ethernet port.
- An Ethernet cable (usually provided with the printer or router).
- A Windows computer (for using the configuration software).
- The Xprinter Network Configuration Utility software. This is crucial. You must download it from the official Xprinter website or your supplier’s site. Search for “Xprinter Network Configuration Tool” or your specific model’s utility.
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Connect via Ethernet Cable:
- Power on your Xprinter printer.
- Take your Ethernet cable and connect one end to the Ethernet port on the back of the printer.

- In the utility, there will be fields for authentication. The most common setting is:

- In the “Key” or “Password” field, carefully enter your Wi-Fi network’s password.

- Safely disconnect the Ethernet cable from both the printer and the router.
- Power cycle the printer by turning it off and then back on. This allows it to boot up and attempt to connect using the new Wi-Fi settings you just configured.
- Print another self-test page (hold FEED button while powering on). Look at the network section again. It should now show a connection to your Wireless (WLAN) network. It will display a new IP address assigned by your Wi-Fi router. Write this new IP address down.
- Add the Printer to Your Computer (Optional):
- To print from your PC, you need to add it as a network printer.
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners > Add device.
- Click “Add manually” and choose a TCP/IP port.
- Enter the new Wi-Fi IP address from the self-test page and proceed. You may need to install the driver (as per the previous guide) at this point.

1. Connect the Printer to your PC
Firstly, you have to connect the USB Xprinter to your computer or laptop to install the driver for the Xprinter.
You can download this one more driver and install it on your computer. After running already, please try to print the test by connecting from Xprinter to the computer. Then, install the XPrinter Driver software and make the configuration.

2. Install Driver Xprinter Driver80

There are different drivers that you should select correctly for your devices. If you use macOS, select that one, but now I use Windows, so I select Windows.
3. Configure Xprinter to connect Wifi
To configure Xprinter to connect to Wifi, please run with this driver Xprinter Printer Software to Configure Wifi V3.6C by configuring it as below.
Select a language that you can read to understand.
Now you can see how to configure Xprinter to connect with Wifi. First, use the USB port and select XP-80. You will see your PC IP Address and the auto Printer IP Address. Change the IP Address of your printer, then click Connect.

First, ensure you can connect and perform a ping test. Once the print test is successful, unplug the USB. Then, click on Advanced and proceed to Set Net to connect with your Wifi.
At the top of the Printer, select the NET option. Enter the Wifi SSID and Password. Click Set above Contents. You will hear the sound from Xprinter. Start to print the test from your Desktop or laptop.
Now, after we have connected to and run the printer driver. It is time to go to the print test to make sure that the printer can print well.
