- Enter the Default IP Address
- In the address bar, type the following and press Enter:
http://192.168.88.1
- This is the default IP address for most MikroTik routers. If it has been changed, use the updated IP instead.
- In the address bar, type the following and press Enter:
- Log In to the Router
- You’ll be directed to the WebFig login screen.
- Enter the username and password.
- Default username:
admin
- Default password: (leave blank)
- Default username:
- Click “Login”.
- Welcome to WebFig!
- Once logged in, you’ll have access to a full graphical interface. You can configure everything from wireless settings to firewall rules.
Tip: If the default IP doesn’t work, check your device’s IP settings. You can also use Winbox to find the current IP of the router.

Note: Check the IP Address on your PC. Verify its correctness before logging in to the Mikrotik router via a Web browser. Ensure it matches the Mikrotik IP. Make sure you can ping it. If you can ping, you can also access Mikrotik via a Web browser.

3. Enter the Default IP Address
Then open a browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or IE. Enter the default IP address of the Mikrotik router: 192.168.88.1. and hit enter!

4. Log In to the Router
Log in with Admin and no password. Right now, you have been logged in to the Mikrotik router. Go to WebFig to go to the configuration page.
